Cascade Planning Associates is owned and operated by its principal planner, Steven B. Andersen, who started the company in White Salmon, Washington, in November of 1987, to provide technical planning support to public and private clientele in the Columbia River Gorge.

Steven has practiced land use planning since graduating with the MS degree in Resource Geography at Oregon State University in 1976.  He has worked in both the public and private sectors during the past 26 years. He has been a planning director for counties and cities in Washington and Oregon in both appointed and consulting capacities.  Steven's wife, Juanita, serves as office manager and field assistant.

Steven and Juanita presently work out of their home-office in the Columbia River Gorge at 400 1st Ave (Hwy 30) in Mosier, Oregon.
